Made from Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grown on the limestone-rich slope next to the cellar. The grapes are destemmed and spend a short time (2 nights) on the skins before the wine ages for 17/18 months in a large 26-hectolitre oak cask.
A young but elegant Montepulciano, with plenty of dark berry fruit, a nice mineral edge and a good balance between richness and freshness.
